The National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) is the main national qualification for secondary school students in New Zealand.
Full NCEA Level 1, 2 and 3 Courses are offered at the Otorohanga College. In addition we also offer a number of National Certificate Courses.
All students take a course which involves English, Mathematics, and Physical Education/Health plus three further subjects chosen from the option lines provided.
Year 12 students are required to select English and five other subjects from the option choices provided.
Year 13 students are required to select subjects from five of the six option lines provided including the option of sitting Scholarship in a range of subjects.
There exists the opportunity at all year levels to undertake a multi-level course of study.
